Las Áreas Estratégicas del Trabajo de COMBI
Hemos dividido nuestro accionar en cinco áreas estratégicas. La división de nuestro trabajo ministerial en cinco áreas específicas está hecha en una manera natural y espontánea.
Creemos que si trabajamos dichas cinco áreas en forma simultánea, nuestra participación en la obra misionera nacional y mundial será bastante significativa.
Las cinco áreas son: 1. Obra misionera al interior del Perú. 2. Entrenamiento ministerial y teológico de nuevos pastores y misioneros. 3. Entrenamiento ministerial y teológico de pastores, misioneros y líderes que ya están sirviendo al Señor aunque no han sido discipulados ni entrenados en forma básica. 4. Preparación espiritual y logística para participar en la obra misionera mundial. 5. Difusión Internacional de nuestra visión y ministerio.
Ahora comentaremos y explicaremos que es lo que queremos lograr en cada una de estas áreas.
1. Obra misionera al interior del Perú.
En el Perú hay más de 800 de iglesias bautistas independientes. Todas estas iglesias se encuentran mayormente en los departamentos de Loreto, Piura, Cusco, Lima, Arequipa, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Ica, Huancayo, Cajamarca, Huánuco, San Martín, Amazonas, Huaraz, Tacna y Tumbes.
En los otros departamentos, la presencia de las iglesias bautistas es ínfima. De todo el número de iglesias mencionadas: la gran mayoría de las iglesias no sostienen a sus pastores e invierten muy poco en el sostenimiento de la obra misionera que se hace en el propio Perú y menos aún en la obra que se hace en otros países.
En especial, las iglesias que no sostienen pastores ni invierten en forma significativa y constante en la obra misionera nacional y mundial son las que se encuentran en la selva, la sierra y las áreas rurales de la costa.
Los que conformamos COMBI creemos que esta situación tiene que revertirse. Consideramos que el potencial misionero de las iglesias debe ser desarrollado y aprovechado. Dios ha dado a todos los hijos suyos el privilegio de participar en su obra de salvación en todo el mundo y los creyentes peruanos no estamos exentos de dicho privilegio.
Nosotros creemos que es muy importante para la obra misionera que se trabaje con el fin de conseguir que las iglesias peruanas participen con entusiasmo en el cumplimiento de la gran comisión a nivel del Perú y el mundo.
COMBI ha tomado el reto de realizar este trabajo. Por eso, nuestra meta en esta área es FORTALECER la obra que se ha hecho, se está haciendo y se quiere hacer en Perú.
Por encima de todo, los que conformamos COMBI somos creyentes y ministros que creemos en el poder de la predicación de la palabra de Dios. Como predicadores, consideramos que Biblia tiene la virtud de producir los cambios que todo hijo de Dios necesita.
En consecuencia, nosotros vamos a hacer cuanto esté a nuestro alcance con el fin de que haya lo siguiente: Más pastores y misioneros dedicados por entero al ministerio de la palabra de Dios. Más pastores y misioneros mejor preparados y sostenidos. Más iglesias que sostienen bien a sus pastores y misioneros. Más iglesias que participan con oración y ofrendas en la obra misionera nacional y mundial.
Por esto, las acciones de COMBI son: Promover visión misionera nacional y mundial en las iglesias establecidas. Canalizar estrategias y recursos para establecer iglesias misioneras. Fortalecer las agencias misioneras peruanas fundamentales y conservadoras.
Hemos emprendido nuestro trabajo confiando en que Dios nos ayudará y bendecirá en este esfuerzo.
Consideremos ahora nuestra segunda área de trabajo.
2. El entrenamiento ministerial y teológico de nuevos pastores y misioneros.
Jesucristo le dijo a sus discípulos: “A la verdad la mies es mucha, más los obreros pocos. Rogad, pues, al Señor de la mies, que envíe obreros a su mies” (Mateo 9:37-38). Pablo le dijo a Timoteo: “Lo que has oído de mí ante muchos testigos, esto encarga a hombres fieles que sean idóneos para enseñar también a otros” (2Timoteo 2:1).
La preparación de creyentes fieles con el fin de que estén listos para asumir responsabilidad pastoral, evangelística y misionera es indispensable y vital.
COMBI ha asumido el reto de trabajar también esta área vital del extendimiento del evangelio. Consideramos que debemos poner una principal atención en el buen entrenamiento de los obreros que nuestro Dios está enviando a su mies.
En este campo, nuestras acciones específicas son estas: Promover el ministerio pastoral, evangelístico y misionero como un llamamiento especial de Dios y convocar a hombres y mujeres fieles a responder con fe a este llamamiento divino. Dirigir a los que tienen vocación y aptitudes espirituales y ministerial hacia seminarios que sean conocidos por su pureza bíblica, su énfasis en el crecimiento espiritual y su pasión y visión mundial del la obra misionera. Promover visión misionera local, nacional y mundial en los estudiantes de los seminarios e institutos bíblicos del Perú y de otros países. Canalizar recursos para los profesores y los alumnos de los seminarios e institutos bíblicos. Fortalecer a los seminarios bautistas fundamentales y ayudarles a tener mucho más respaldo espiritual y financiero de los pastores, los misioneros y las iglesias. Ayudar a los que se prepararan para el ministerio a ingresar al ministerio pastoral, misionero o evangelísitico según sea el oficio al que consideran Dios los ha llamado.
En este momento, cuatro de los que conformamos COMBI estamos fuertemente comprometidos con el Seminario Bautista del Perú (http://www.seminariobautistadelperu.org) y somos muy conscientes de la importancia que tiene para la obra misionera local, nacional y mundial este tipo de ministerio.
Aunque estamos bastante comprometidos con el seminario mencionado, nuestro trabajo no está limitado al mismo. Nosotros queremos apoyar también a otros seminarios de igual fe y práctica. La obra misionera local, nacional y mundial demanda el esfuerzo conjunto de todos los que amamos a Dios y su obra y es por eso que estamos listos a cooperar en el fortalecimiento de todos los ministerios de formación de siervos de Dios.
Consideremos ahora nuestra tercera área ministerial.
3. El entrenamiento ministerial y teológico a aquellos pastores y misioneros y líderes que ya están sirviendo sin haber sido discipulados y entrenados siquiera en forma básica.
En el Perú ese asunto es una gran necesidad. Existen muchas iglesias que son presididas y dirigidas por pastores, misioneros, evangelistas y líderes que tienen un conocimiento deficiente del evangelio y la palabra de Dios. ¡La gran mayoría de estos varones ni siquiera ha recibido un discipulado sistemático básico!
Estos pastores, misioneros, evangelistas y líderes se encuentran en las iglesias de las zonas rurales de la costa, en los pueblos de la selva y en los pueblos de la sierra del Perú. Estos hermanos nuestros son fieles y hacen cuanto pueden para cumplir con el rol que Dios les ha encomendado. Realmente, su dedicación y su trabajo son impresionantes.
COMBI considera que estos siervos de Dios harían muchísimo más si es que tuviesen una preparación mayor. Con esa convicción, hemos determinado alcanzar a nuestros hermanos con un entrenamiento básico y fundamental.
Esto nos ha llevado a implementar programas académicos en áreas rurales (costa, sierra y selva). Nuestro plan es viajar para enseñarles personalmente según una currícula básica bien definida. El material que enseñamos proviene de Bible Training Centre For Pastors (http://btcp.com) y lo enseñamos adaptando el mismo a nuestra realidad y prioridades.
Los cursos que enseñamos son: Métodos de Estudio Bíblico y Reglas de Interpretación. Síntesis del Antiguo Testamento. Síntesis del Nuevo Testamento. La Predicación de Mensajes Bíblicos y Ministerio Pastoral. Perspectiva General de Doctrina Bíblica. Vida Espiritual Personal. Ministerio Eclesiástico – Administración – Educación. Principios y Métodos de Enseñanza. Perspectiva General de Historia de la Iglesia. Misiones – Evangelismo – Discipulado.
Nuestros profesores son pastores que entienden la enseñanza como discipulado. Esto es vital porque ellos viajan hasta donde están nuestros hermanos y pasan tiempo con ellos y comparten así el conocimiento de la palabra y la manera en que esta misma palabra ha afectado y afecta su vida personal, familiar y ministerial.
Nuestra meta de enseñanza es involucrar a estos hermanos e iglesias en el trabajo misionero local, nacional y mundial. Consideramos que no hay ninguna razón bíblica que exima a estos nuestros hermanos de este magno privilegio. En consecuencia, estamos listos a invertir nuestro tiempo, fuerza, talentos y recursos en esta nuestra meta.
COMBI considera que hay un gran potencial misionero que desarrollar tanto en estos siervos de Dios como en las iglesias que los cobijan. Nosotros somos testigos oculares del hambre de la palabra de Dios que tienen los hermanos que están sin instrucción y estamos dispuestos a hacer cuanto esté a nuestro alcance para instruirlos en la palabra de Dios.
Gracias a Dios, ya hemos empezado un centro de entrenamiento y estamos seguros que Dios nos ayudará a empezar muchos más.

Consideremos la cuarta área de trabajo.
4. Preparación espiritual y logística para participar en la obra misionera mundial.
En el Perú existen iglesias gracias al trabajo de hermanos en Cristo que tenían la visión de llevar el evangelio de Jesucristo a toda criatura. Los peruanos estamos felices de poseer el evangelio. Realmente, ser hijo de Dios es una gran bendición. ¡Estamos muy agradecidos a Dios por los hermanos que nos trajeron el evangelio!
Empero, la bendición de ser hijos de Dios viene acompañada de una gran responsabilidad… ¡llevar el mensaje del evangelio a todo el mundo!
Tristemente, las iglesias peruanas hemos hecho muy poco en lo referente a la obra misionera mundial. La participación de las iglesias bautistas independientes en el trabajo de llevar el evangelio a todo el mundo es casi nula.
Por eso, COMBI ha asumido el reto de hacer cuanto esté a su alcance para conseguir que la visión mundial y la participación misionera mundial de las iglesias peruanas sean pronto una realidad.
¿Cómo es que vamos a conseguirlo?
Nuestra estrategia de acción está fundamentada en el poder de la palabra de Dios, la presencia del Espíritu Santo y la movilización de predicadores que confían en el poder de la palabra de Dios y que dependen del Espíritu Santo.
En forma específica, nuestro trabajo es: Enseñar la palabra de Dios con el fin de desterrar el complejo de campo misionero que está arraigado en el corazón de muchas de las iglesias bautistas independientes del Perú. Promover entre las iglesias del Perú la gran comisión de hacer discípulos hasta lo último de la tierra. Orar por misioneros que están trabajando en otros países alrededor del mundo. Ofrendar para misioneros que están trabajando en otros países alrededor del mundo. Apoyar a las iglesias que envían misioneros parar trabajar en otros países alrededor del mundo. Ayudar a los misioneros que son enviados por las iglesias para que lleguen y trabajen adecuadamente en los lugares en que van a ministrar. Establecer o ayudar a establecer una oficina administrativa que ayude a las iglesias y a los misioneros en su trabajo misionero fuera del Perú.
Consideremos ahora nuestra última área ministerial.
5. Difusión Internacional.
COMBI considera que la gran comisión siempre ha tenido, tiene y tendrá alcance mundial. La palabra de Dios es clara y específica en el hecho cierto e innegable de que todo creyente verdadero está comprometido en “ir y hacer discípulos a todas las naciones” (Mateo 28:18-20).
Nuestro ministerio tiene alcance internacional porque “creemos que las iglesias de todo el mundo tienen que estar llevando el evangelio a todo el mundo”. En consecuencia, nosotros promovemos y compartimos visión misionera local, nacional y mundial en dondequiera que vayamos.
Todos los que conformamos COMBI hemos tenido el privilegio de viajar a otros países y nos hemos dado cuenta de que hay una gran necesidad de llamar y convocar a las iglesias de todas partes del mundo a comprometerse en el cumplimiento de la gran comisión a nivel, nacional y mundial. Un ministerio que concientice a los creyentes respecto a la gran comisión siempre es indispensable y nosotros queremos trabajar en esta manera constantemente.
Asimismo, nosotros hemos notado que los problemas espirituales de los cristianos y las iglesias son similares y comunes en todas partes. Por eso, consideramos que el trabajo y las experiencias que estamos teniendo son de provecho y bendición para nuestros hermanos de otros países.
Gracias a Dios, nuestro testimonio e influencia ministerial se ha extendido en Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador y USA. Nosotros estamos convencidos de que el intercambio de experiencias ministeriales, recursos humanos y recursos financieros son hoy una necesidad para cumplir con la gran comisión en todo el mundo.
En consecuencia, a nivel internacional, nuestras acciones son: Promover el compañerismo con fines misioneros entre pastores, misioneros y evangelistas de todos los países. Promover y cooperar con los esfuerzos misioneros de las iglesias de todos los países. Facilitar el Intercambio de visión, pasión y experiencias misioneras entre los pastores, misioneros, evangelistas, líderes e iglesias de todos los países. Ayudar en la construcción de una gran red internacional de iglesias que soporten la obra misionera en todo el mundo.
A modo de conclusión:
Los pastores y las iglesias que hemos empezado el ministerio COMBI queremos glorificar a Dios contribuyendo con la extensión del evangelio de Jesucristo en todo el mundo.
Conformamos este ministerio en el Perú porque estamos en el Perú y ministramos aquí y desde aquí. En ese sentido, partimos de nuestro contexto histórico y de lo que Dios ha hecho, está haciendo y hará en este nuestro hermoso país.
Nuestra contribución a la extensión del evangelio está marcada fuertemente por la realidad en que vivimos. Esto es notorio y obvio en la forma en que hemos dividido nuestro trabajo ministerial.
Aunque reconocemos ser afectados grandemente por nuestro entorno, esto no significa que no tengamos también experiencias internacionales.
Los cinco que componemos COMBI hemos predicado en iglesias de otros países e interactuado con siervos de Dios de diferentes nacionalidades. Esto también es manifiesto en nuestras áreas estratégicas de acción.
Hemos emprendido un desafío grande porque, como dijo David cuando se dispuso a participar con ofrendas en la construcción del templo de Jehová en Jerusalén: “… la obra (es) grande; porque la casa no es para hombre, sino para Jehová Dios” (1Crónicas 29:1).
David habló estás palabras refiriéndose a un edificio material que, si bien es cierto era el lugar en que Dios puso su presencia, hoy ya no existe. La gran comisión, que es el instrumento a través del cual Dios está edificando la iglesia de Jesucristo, es también una obra grande y demanda un esfuerzo grande.
Nosotros tenemos la convicción de que vale la pena invertir todo nuestro ser en la edificación de la iglesia de Jesucristo, que es la obra grande que Dios está realizando hoy en la tierra.
COMBI ha surgido para participar en esta obra grande y convoca a todo aquel que quiera comprometerse en la sagrada tarea de predicar el evangelio a toda criatura y de establecer iglesia en todas partes a unirse a nosotros en este gran desafío.

Areas of Strategic Labor COMBI
We divided our actions in five strategic areas. The division of our ministerial work in five specific areas is done in a natural and spontaneous.
We believe that if we work in these five areas simultaneously, our participation in national and global mission work will be quite significant.
The five areas are: 1. Missionary work to the interior of Peru. 2. Ministerial and theological training of new pastors and missionaries. 3. Ministerial and theological training of pastors, missionaries and leaders, who are already serving the Lord but have not been trained in discipleship and basic form. 4. Spiritual and logistical preparation for participation in global mission work. 5. International Diffusion of our vision and ministry.
Now comment and explain what they want to achieve in each of these areas.
1. Missionary work to the interior of Peru.
In Peru there are over 800 independent Baptist churches. All these churches are mostly in the departments of Loreto, Piura, Cusco, Lima, Arequipa, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Ica, Huancayo, Cajamarca, Huanuco, San Martin, Amazonas, Huaraz, Tacna and Tumbes.
In other departments, the presence of the Baptist churches is negligible. Of all the churches mentioned: most churches do not hold their pastors and invest very little in support of mission work is done at the very least of all in Peru and the work is done in other countries.
In particular, the churches and pastors that do not support investing in a significant and constant in the national and global mission work are those in the jungle, the highlands and rural areas of the coast.
COMBI shape which we believe this situation must be reversed. We believe that the potential missionary churches to be developed and exploited. We believe it is very important for the missionary work that is working to make Peruvian churches participate with enthusiasm in fulfilling the great commission at the level of Peru and the world.
COMBI has taken the challenge to do this work. So our goal in this area is to strengthen the work has been done, are doing and want to do in Peru.
Above all, that shape us COMBI believers and ministers who believe in the power of preaching the word of God. As preachers, we believe that the Bible is the basis of the changes that occur throughout a child of God need.
Accordingly, we will do everything in our power to ensure that there is the following: Most pastors and missionaries devoted entirely to the ministry of the Word of God. Most pastors and missionaries better prepared and supported. More churches to contend with their pastors and missionaries. More churches involved with prayer and offerings to the national and global mission work.
Therefore, the actions of COMBI are: To promote national and global missionary vision in the established churches. Channel strategies and resources for establishing mission churches. Strengthen the Peruvian mission agencies and key conservative.
We have undertaken our work in the hope that God will bless us and help in this effort.
Consider now our second area of work.
2. Ministerial and theological training of new pastors and missionaries.
Jesus told his disciples: “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest “(Matthew 9:37-38). Paul told Timothy: “What you heard from me before many witnesses, that instructs men to be faithful qualified to teach others also” (2Timoteo 2:1).
The preparation of faithful believers to be ready to assume responsibility pastoral, evangelistic and missionary is essential and vital.
COMBI has taken up the challenge of working is also vital area of spreading the gospel. We believe that we must put an emphasis on the proper training of workers who our God is sending his harvest.

In this area, specific actions are these: To promote the pastoral ministry, evangelism and mission as a special call from God and to call men and women faithful to respond with faith in this divine call. Directing those with skills and spiritual calling and to ministerial seminars that are known for their purity biblical emphasis on spiritual growth and passion and vision of global mission work. At this time, four of which constitute COMBI we are firmly committed to the Baptist Seminary of Peru (http://www.seminariobautistadelperu.org) and we are very conscious of the importance to mission work locally, nationally and globally such ministry.
Although we are quite committed to the seminar mentioned, our work is not limited to it. We want to support other seminars like faith and practice. Mission work local, national and global demands the joint efforts of all who love God and his work and that is why we are ready to cooperate in strengthening the ministries of education of servants of God.
Consider now our third ministerial area.
3. Ministerial and theological training to pastors and missionaries, and those leaders who are serving without being trained and discipleship even in basic form.
In Peru this case is a great need. There are many churches which are chaired and led by pastors, missionaries, evangelists and leaders who have a poor knowledge of the gospel and the word of God. The great majority of these men has not even received a systematic basic discipleship!
These pastors, missionaries, evangelists and leaders in churches are in rural areas of the coast, the peoples of the rainforest and the peoples of the highlands of Peru. These are our true brothers and they can do to fulfill the role that God has entrusted. Indeed, his dedication and his work are impressive.
COMBI believes that these servants of God would do a lot more if they had a greater preparation. With this conviction, we determined to reach our brothers with a basic and fundamental.
This has led us to implement programs in rural areas (coast, sierra and jungle). Our plan is to travel in person to teach a core curriculum as well defined. The material we teach comes from Bible Training Center for Pastors (http://btcp.com) and adapting it to teach the reality and priorities.
The courses we teach are: Bible Study Methods and Rules of Interpretation. Summaries of the Old Testament. Synthesis of the New Testament. Preaching Biblical Messages and Pastoral Ministry. Overview of Biblical Doctrine. Personal Spiritual Life. Ecclesiastical Department – Administration – Education. Principles and Methods of Teaching. Overview of Church History. Missions – Evangelism – Discipleship.
Our teachers are pastors who understand teaching and discipleship. This is vital because they travel to where they are our brothers and spend time with them and share the knowledge and the word and how this same word has affected and affects your personal life, family and ministry.
Our educational goal is to involve these brothers and churches in mission work locally, nationally and globally. We believe that there is no biblical reason to exempt these our brothers in this great privilege. Accordingly, we are ready to invest our time, strength, talents and resources in our goal.
COMBI believes there is great potential to develop as a missionary in these servants of God in the churches to the shelter. We are eyewitnesses of the famine of the Word of God who have siblings who are uneducated and are ready to do everything within our power to instruct them in God’s word.

Consider the fourth area of work.
4. Spiritual and logistical preparation for participation in global mission work.
In Peru there are churches through the work of brothers in Christ who had the vision to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature. Peruvians are glad to have the gospel. Actually, being a child of God is a great blessing. We are very grateful to God for the brothers who brought us the gospel!
But blessed be the children of God comes great responsibility … carry the message of the gospel to the whole world!
Sadly, the churches have done little Peruvian regarding global mission work. The involvement of independent Baptist churches in the work of taking the gospel to the whole world is almost zero.
So COMBI has taken up the challenge of doing everything in its power to ensure that the global vision and the mission churches Peruvian world will soon be a reality.
How are we going to achieve?
Our strategy of action is based on the power of the word of God, the Holy Spirit’s presence and mobilization of preachers who trust in the power of word of God and depend on the Holy Spirit.
In specific, our job is: To teach the word of God to banish the complex mission field that is rooted in the heart of many of the independent Baptist churches in Peru. To promote among the churches of Peru the great commission to make disciples to the ends of the earth. Pray for missionaries who are working in other countries around the world. Offerings to missionaries who are working in other countries around the world. Supporting churches that send missionaries to stop work in other countries around the world. Helping missionaries who are sent by the churches to come and work well in places where they will minister. To establish or help establish an administrative office to help churches and missionaries in their missionary work outside of Peru.

5. Broadcast International.
COMBI considers the great commission has always had, has and will have global reach. God’s word is clear and specific and the undeniable fact that every true believer is committed to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:18-20).
Our ministry has an international reach because “we believe that churches around the world have to be carrying the gospel throughout the world.” Accordingly, we promote our shared vision and mission locally, nationally and globally wherever we go.
COMBI settle all that we have had the privilege of traveling to other countries and we realized that there is a need to call and call to the churches from all over the world to engage in fulfilling the great commission at the national and global levels. Concientice a ministry to believers regarding the great commission is essential and we always want to work in this way constantly.
Also, we noticed that the spiritual problems of Christians and churches are similar and common everywhere. Thus, the work and experiences that we are taking advantage and blessing to our brothers in other countries.
Thank God, our witness and ministerial influence has spread in Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and USA. We are convinced that the sharing of ministerial experience, human resources and financial resources are now a necessity to fulfill the Great Commission around the world.
Therefore, at international level, our actions are: to promote fellowship among Finnish missionary pastors, evangelists and missionaries from all countries. Promote and cooperate with the missionary efforts of the churches in all countries. Facilitate the exchange of vision, passion and missionary experiences among the pastors, missionaries, evangelists, leaders and churches of all countries. Assist in the construction of a large international network of churches that support the mission work around the world.
By way of conclusion:
Pastors and churches that we have started the ministry COMBI we want to glorify God by contributing to the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.
As this ministry in Peru because we are in Peru and ministers here and here. In that sense, part of our historical context and what God has done, is doing and will do in this our beautiful country.
Our contribution to the spread of the gospel is strongly marked by the reality we live. This is obvious and evident in the way we have divided our ministerial work.
While we recognize to be greatly affected by our environment, this does not mean that they also have international experience.
The five that compose COMBI have preached in churches of other countries and interacted with servants of God from different nationalities. This is also evident in our strategic areas of action.
We have undertaken a big challenge because, as David said when they set out to participate with offerings in the construction of the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem: “… the work (s) long, because the house is not for man but for the Lord God” ( 1Crónicas 29:1).
David spoke these words, referring to a building material, although it was the place where God made his presence no longer exists. The great commission, which is the instrument through which God is building the church of Jesus Christ, is also a great book and demand a big effort.
We believe that it’s worth investing our whole being in the building of the Church of Jesus Christ, the great work that God is doing today in the land.
COMBI has emerged to participate in this great work and invites anyone wishing to engage in the sacred task of preaching the gospel to every creature and to church everywhere to join us in this great challenge.
